Drive an RC rock crawler across generated trails. There is no race, no score and nothing to win.

Not playable yet.

Just drive

Breakover RC is for the part of RC crawling where you take a rig out and pick a line. Follow the trail, or leave it for the rock, mud, sand and water off to the sides. Nobody is racing you, and there are no points.

Run low range, lock the differentials, and set the tire inserts. The rigs are RC crawlers, simulated at full scale.

Build the rig for the trail

Every obstacle is graded against your rig as Easy, Hard, Upgrade or Built. A stock rig can't pass an Upgrade obstacle. It can once you've changed tires, inserts, differentials or suspension.

Parts and credits sit by obstacles, away from the trailhead. Spend them in the garage, where the bench shows weight and axle loads as you change things. Paint it too, with patina, rust and dirt.

Regions

A buggy on a dirt trail through autumn trees and tall grass.

Autumn Hills

Wooded hills, creek valleys and ridges. Dirt, grass, gravel, mud, rock ledges, fallen logs and fords.

A trail truck in a sandy wash beside stepped red sandstone.

Juniper Rim

A sandstone rim above sandy washes, slickrock domes, mesas and fins.

Named courses

Every course number is a different layout, and the same number always builds the same course. Each region has six named courses. You can also make a random one, or type a code to drive a course a friend found.
